Qs For Your Book Club
1. Do some cultures place different value or emphasis on kindness and grace?
2. Is kindness sometimes seen as a weakness – why?
3. Do you agree with the author’s assertion that we sometimes reserve our sense of grace for special occasions or for our superiors, whether wittingly or unwittingly?
4. Is it realistic to be graceful at work, amid dog-eat-dog competitiveness? Is there room for grace in corporate life?
5. How do you handle compliments? What message are we sending to others in how we handle them, including the message to our children, younger siblings or colleagues?
6. Roommates can make or break our college experience or our twenties in general. What experiences/recollections do you have? Where might grace (or lack of) have played a role in relationships?
7. If you could go back on time, what would you tell your younger self about what it means to be savvy —and why it matters?
8. Did you recall a moment, or a role model who provided a lesson in being savvy, either in relationships, finances, or some other area in your life?

I’d be interested in participating in a book club and hearing about additional ‘Savvy Girl’ releases. Really looking forward to the book release, it will make a great read and a great gift!

Hello Holly, thanks so much for your interest and your support. Unfortunately, I won’t be running a book club from this site, and I apologize that that was unclear. I’ll review my text to clarify things. I was planning to post some questions that readers could then use to prompt discussion in their own book clubs. But as soon as it’s released, I’d be delighted to answer any questions that you have about the book, and I’ve made note to make sure a discussion page is in place before publication. Thanks again for your support!
